The pedestal is mounted onto the deck so to determine the baseplate length, measure the span from inside of the gunnel out to the rub rail of the boat. Add 4 inches to this dimension.
Then using the drawing, select the proper baseplate with the proper span to cup the “B” dimension.

Tracks can be placed anywhere. To properly fit the baseplate, measure from the center of the track out to the rub rail at the edge of the boat.
Add 2 inches to that number. Then using the drawing, select the proper baseplate with the proper span to cup the “B” dimension.

Avid boats utilize 67 and 73 degree tracks

Bracket clamp fits best with a 10 inch baseplate. Note that this baseplate has a special hole pattern.
Bracket clamps open a maximum of 2 inches. The clamp must be able to thread over your gunnel. Clamps also do not close all the way, they are designed to to have some material (plastic/wood) between the clamp and hull to spread the load on the thin hull aluminum.

The mounting plate is 4×4 inches square.  Using a piece of cardboard cut to that dimension, place it on the boat and use the drawing to select a proper baseplate length.

G3 Models with Handle Tubes (Round Rails – check tube diameter before ordering)
Sportsman Series: This is the most common line for round rails. Specifically, the Sportsman 200 and Sportsman 2100 models are known for utilizing a heavy-duty (>1 inch) round rail base along the gunnels. Check tube diameter before ordering.
Bay Series: Some Bay 20 and 22 DLX models feature tubular rails or “grab rails” along the gunnel.
Gator Tough CC/SC: Certain Center Console (CC) and Side Console (SC) models within the Gator Tough line, such as the 20 CC or 18 SC, often have tubular side rails.

Angler 175/185: Typically use a 90-degree T-bolt rail.

2021 V17 FS: Uses a 45-degree angled rail.

Most Other Models: Most other G3 models with tracks utilize a 55-degree T-bolt rail.

Check your boat with a speed square to ensure the proper bracket.

Note: Downrigger bracket clamp max opening is 2 inches. Clamp closes to within ½ inch of boat hull. Must use a spacer (wood or plastic) on the clamp to spread the load on the hull.

Fishing Machine (FM) Series: Models like the FM 1625, 1775, and 1800 often feature console grab handles or bow rails that use 7/8-inch or 1-inch stainless steel tubing.
Fish & Ski (FS) Series: The FS 1800 and FS 1700 utility models use these standard sizes for passenger safety rails and bimini top frames.

Pedestal-on-tracker

Stinger Series: Models from 2020 and newer typically use a 90-degree mounting track. In 2018, Lowe also introduced a “Gunnel Track Cleat” system for Stinger Bass Boats that allows cleats to slide to any position.

Roughneck Series: These rugged hunting and fishing boats often feature a track system. The Roughneck 1860 and 2072 (specifically 2021 models) are known to use a 58-degree angle rail.

Fishing Machine (FM) Series: Many older and current versions of the Fishing Machine utilize the track system at various angles, including 45-degree or 55-degree tracks.

Fish & Ski (FS) Series: Like the FM series, these utility models often include accessory tracks at 45 or 55-degree angles.

Check your boat with a speed square to ensure the proper bracket.

OEM bracket

Uses Garmin’s bracketing in the box. We are not too happy with it as it looks like a bad hockey stick when assembled and tends to be pushed around due to offset water pressure.

LVS34 Multiview bracket

Uses a ball bracket to support all 3 views: Forward, Down and Perspective

LVS34 Forward/Down

Uses a U bracket to allow for Just forward and down views.
