Notes:
Baseplates can be either light duty Marine Board plastic or heavy duty Aluminum.
If you fish water with lots of stumps or rivers, please consider staying with Aluminum for the baseplate material.
Transducer mountings: OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufactuerer. In other words, the bracketing that came with your transducers.
Humminbird is best used with this mounting. Garmin and Lowrance we offer lower profile bracketing that creates a more streamlined downrod assembly. Click on More info for better descriptions.

The Fishingspecialties transducer pole is well thought out. There are no issues with transducer being damaged by the trolling motor. You can remove the pole in seconds to move to your next fishing spot. The Alumacraft clamp that is included makes it easy to adjust to the fisherman in the bow of the boat who is running the graph the trolling motor etc. The product is well made and the concept of running the transducer cable through the tube keeps it safe and out of the way. The break away screws for attaching the plate give you a chance to save your transducer if you hit an object under the water. If you order the pole and mount for an Alumacraft boat remember if you have the Trophy models you will need the 15 inch plate to cover the distance on the larger gunnels. Install was effortless.
